CAOS: Cognition And OntologieS<\/strong> is a workshop series devoted to the relationship between cognition and ontologies with the purpose to model, simulate and represent cognitive phenomena for artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The first CAOS<\/a> was held at the conference Formal Ontology in Information Systems (FOIS 2016), Annecy, France , in July 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The second edition<\/a> took place at The AISB Convention, organised by the Society for the Study of Artificial Intelligence and Simulation of Behaviour (AISB 2017), University of Bath, UK, on the 18-21 of April 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The third edition<\/a> of CAOS was part of the Joint Ontology Workshops (JOWO)<\/a> held at FOIS 2018<\/a> in Cape Town, South Africa, in September 2018. It was organised as a joint event with the workshop CEX: Explainable AI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The fourth edition<\/a> took place at JOWO 2019<\/a> in Graz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The fifth edition<\/a> took place at JOWO 2021<\/a> at the Bolzano Summer of Knowledge BOSK<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The sixth edition took place in J\u00f6nk\u00f6ping, Sweden, at JOWO 2022<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The seventh edition<\/a> was held in Sherbrook during JOWO 2023<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The eitghth edition<\/a> took place at FOIS and JOWO 2024<\/a>, in Enschede.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
