Maria M. Hedblom: Otto-von-Guericke University, Magdeburg, Germany.
Maria Hedblom pursues her PhD at Otto-von-Guericke University of Magdeburg, Germany. She is a visiting researcher at Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, Italy. Her main topic is image schemas in conceptual blending and concept invention. She has published on this and related topics in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences in AI, cognitive science, and ontology.  Her academic work includes among other organizing CAOS 2016, the Image schema day 2015 and its sequel the Image schema day II 2016.

Tarek R. Besold: University of Bremen, Germany
Tarek R. Besold is a researcher at the Digital Media Lab, Center for Computing and Communication Technologies (TZI), University of Bremen. He is a founder and chair/organizer of the series of International Workshops on Computational Creativity, Concept Invention, and General Intelligence (C3GI), he is an organizer/chair of the series of International Workshops on Neural-Symbolic Learning and Reasoning (NeSy), he is general chair of HLAI 2016, and has been an organizer/chair of several smaller workshops in the past.

Oliver Kutz: Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, Italy.
Oliver Kutz is an assistant professor at the KRDB Research Centre for Knowledge and Data at the Free-University of Bozen-Bolzano, Italy. He has published widely in the areas of philosophical, non-classical and spatial logic, ontology engineering, and Artificial Intelligence. He is a co-designer of the logic SROIQ underlying the web ontology language OWL 2.0, the E-connections technique used in modular knowledge representation, as well as the distributed ontology language DOL. Among others he was PC chair at FOIS 2014, co-organiser of the 4th World Congress on the Square of Opposition, and has been involved as organizer, chair, PC chair, or member of the steering committee in different workshops (SHAPES series, FOFAI, CAOS, WoMo series, etc.).
